LAS VEGAS (June 5, 2007) – The sixth annual New York Gaming Summit, which returns to the Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel in Niagara Falls, June 20-21, will feature a strong lineup of expert speakers, including keynote presenters from the Seneca Nation of Indians and Empire City at Yonkers Raceway.

The Summit’s opening remarks the evening of June 20 will be presented by Maurice A. John, Sr., President of the Seneca Nation of Indians. The Nation’s gaming entity, Seneca Gaming Corporation, is a $1.2 billion company and is the seventh largest employer in Western New York.

On June 21, the Summit’s luncheon presentation will be made by Michael R. Taylor, who oversees the new gaming facility Empire City at Yonkers Raceway as Assistant General Manager. Opened last fall with great expectations, the racetrack gaming operation is by far the largest in New York, and the only one currently operating in close proximity to New York City.

Some two dozen speakers are already confirmed for the Summit’s six detailed conference sessions, with topics including New York gaming from a political perspective, tribal gaming, racetrack gaming, and the regional gaming outlook.
